Aliens and demons and NDEs, oh my!

Plenty of people hallucinate, with or without the aid of drugs. Many of them correctly write them off as simple misfirings of the brain or dreams. But some people actually believe they have encounters with aliens and demons. Near death experiences are a whole other bag of bullshit.

There are two basic types of people involved in this racket. There are those who say they have actual encounters with these beings or events (hallucinations). And then there are those who, though they never claim to have had such an experience, study these phenomena and help spread the humbug.
